Kindergarteners celebrated the Chinese New Year.
The kindergarten learned about the traditional celebration of the Chinese New Year. They made paper lanterns and drew pictures of dragons. They also made dragon eggs, which some people say take 1,000 years to hatch! Once they finished their projects, they used them to decorate the kindergarten room.
The celebration concluded with a dragon dance, traditionally part of the Lantern Festival parade.
