Seventh and eighth graders took their annual end-of-year trip to Columbus.
At the end of each school year, the seventh and eighth grades go away for the weekend to celebrate the end of the school year and the upcoming eighth grade graduation.
This year, the group made their way to Columbus via Cincinnati. Their first stop was a visit to the new WOXY radio station to see the changes since they moved from the old studio across from McGuffey. They got to see the band Headlights perform live in the studio, and then met with the musicians. Some students asked for the band's autograph, and then the band asked the students to autograph their WOXY shirt!
When they got to Columbus, students headed for COSI. Other stops on the weekend included the movies, laser tag, the Renaissance Festival, the Cloak and Dagger theater, and, of course, plenty of great meals.
